Thank you for booking your wedding with Judge Steve Rosen at the King County Courthouse in Seattle. Judge Rosen is happy to be a part of your special day. He can perform whatever type of ceremony you prefer – from simple and legal to involved and ceremonial. You are welcomed to bring up to 18 guests, photographers, videographers, and whatever else you need to make your wedding perfect. Judge Rosen allows you to take cell phone photos and videos, skype, facetime, or other video conferencing (we have very fast wi-fi) , and your guests can watch from the benches or stand with you.
In order to book a wedding, please make sure you either have a valid license, or that you will have a valid license at least 3 days before your scheduled date. More information on how to get your marriage license is available here. You must have your license in your physical possession at least 3 days before your scheduled wedding. Due to Washington law, you cannot pick up your license on the same day as your ceremony.
On the date of your wedding, you will need to bring 2 adult witnesses, your marriage license packet, and the balance due in cash. We cannot accept checks or credit cards for the balance at your ceremony. Please make sure you arrive at the courthouse (Room W-728, 516 Third Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104) at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
If you are not able to use this scheduling website for any reason, if you would like an off-site wedding, or if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Judge Rosen’s bailiff, Janie Smoter, here.
